She finally did it!

Caitlyn has been trying to ride her bike without training wheels. Let me tell you it's stressful! I don't even want to think about trying to teach her how to drive a car. Well with my patience and her determination she finally caught on! YAHOO no more training wheels, but now we need a new bike!

Mikey she insisted that I video tape her so you could see her ride her two wheeler! Show mom and dad too.

Caitlyn has FINALLY completed her 3 years of preschool! This past week I really felt that change in her life....that milestone of becoming older and moving forward! On the day of her preschool graduation she looked older, more mature and soooo happy to finally be a kindergartener! I'm not sure what it was but most of the time you look back and ask where did the time go, but on that day I really felt the moment! On graduation day I realized at that moment that she was growing up way to fast for me! I felt that experience of reaching a new level in her life and it was bittersweet! I'm sad and get teary eyed more often maybe because it's time of the month(yeah I know women are emotional) but I am excited that she is eager to move on and learn more! The Maloy's gave her some school supplies along with a notebook and immediately that night she started doing homework so she could show her new teacher! I'm a proud momma so will probably cry on her first day of kindergarten, but until then I asked her to not grow up and stay my baby for the summer!

Congrats baby...we love you bunches!

Serving it Right!

Blogs are like testimonies. Sometimes when you hear a testimony given it's like it was meant for you solely. Just the same for blogs. My friend Lesly posted a blog on menu planning for dinners...and well it was meant for me because I needed help in that area of organizing my dinner nights. With dance 3 days out of the week and Young Womens on one of those days I was pretty stressed each night on what to make and pull together. Dinner's were not planned and of course not healthy. Well, Lesly came to the rescue by setting a great example for me and my crazy nights! Planning every two weeks has worked great!I think this new way ends up being cheaper(using ingredients more than once), healthier(more wholesome foods) and definitly more satisfying on introducing new foods at the table!

Our 2009 Halloween Party was a blast! We all had a great time and as always was fun to see everyone dressed up and in the Halloween Spirit! Of course Heidi and I think the best part is decorating so we once again used our inventory and drove in full force. OK so the best part is the company and everyone jumping out of their eveyday shell and playing thier character!Look for Heidi's blog post soon...because I know she will get around to it soon enough and also Nicole(Paparazzi)has great pictures of every guest!

This year our theme was the Maloy's Hollywood Halloween Haunt! Once we have a theme, the fun begins even if it's only two weeks prior! So here it is. See what your missing family far away. You know who you are, Mike, Michelle, Jody, Scott! Your family misses you and wants you HERE!!!!

All in a Nutshell!

Where has the time gone? I've been neglecting my blog(my journal) that I print out and file in a notebook. Hey, it's an easy way for me to keep motivated on keeping a journal but lately it has been hard to keep up with what has been going on in the past few months. There's just not enough time time in the day to get what you would like done.
So I will start by venturing back to early September.....SOCCER!!

Caitlyn has really warmed up to playing and actually enjoyed the last of her games. She even "almost" scored a goal at her last game. I was able to watch only a few of her games due to Ballet Solana's dance show practices(which I will feature later) but Grandma and Team Coach Daddy where always there to support her and cheer her on.

Pioneer Day celebration was simple and fun! Our view of the fireworks is fantastic. It's so close it's as if you can touch them. Caitlyn however did not take her finger out of her ears once!

County Fair in Salt Lake was NOTHING compare to LA county fair in home town California but it was nice. Highlight was the rainstorm but it was worth the time together, the all you can eat ice cream and fun encounters with friends!

The animals were fun and great getaway out of the rain, stinky but memorable like this one! GOT MILK?

Can't drive into Salt Lake and not stop at IKEA on your way back home, so we did and for any one interested Monday nights is family night. They had a FREE balloon artist and face painter there for the children. They also had all you can eat pasta for $1.99. Not the greatest but a great deal!

My Family has been down for the past two weeks. First my cousins Mike and Ricky and Uncle Joe and then my Father. It was so nice to have them out here. I didn't want them to go back but that's life and we all move on. I just wish they would move on out here! we made one trip to The Grotto up the canyon and the scenery was amazing.

On our way home we made a stop at Bridal Veil Falls up the Provo Canyon.

I hear they are panning to remake the tram to get to the top of the mountain. They may even reopen that restaurant that was once there long ago!

Cracker Barrel Restaurant is always on our list to eat at with family down.

With the overnight weather change we had to clean out the bath tub and dive in! I was a little too excited and added to much soap!

Raspberry picking was not over for me and Uncle Joe. We picked and canned 15 jars so he could take home!

Daddy bought Caitlyn a new puppy!!!! She had to take it to preschool and it was so funny and had to capture the moment!

Grandpa came down and it was soooo nice to spend time with him! We did lots of things like, the Grotto trail again,the pumpkin patch, Peteetneet Mueseum(Actually quite interesting)walks, laughs and memories I hold close to heart!

I've burnt myself out writing all this down so I'm taking a break till I build my motivation for a new one!

Rockin' Around the Clock!

For the past few months Caitlyn, Kylee and Addie have been practicing a tap dance. Any time they came over to play we would put some music on and dance just right before my other classes. Well, since we have been working on this dance we had to showcase it.... and so we did at the Annual Payson Onion Day's Celebration here in town! They were soooo excited to dance at the children's talent show and I was even more thrilled for them when the costumes were complete! They looked sooooo cute in their 1950's attire! By the way, all under $5.00 bucks! Thrifty but amazing at how cute costumes can be when your on a budget!

They walked on stage and did thier thing! It was fabulous! These four, five and seven year old girls were so entertaining! I now want to do more with them, maybe even start up my own ballet, tap and modern classes... I need to really think this through. It would be so much fun...but lots of time I might not have. hummmmmmmm! What to do, what to do!

Let's Play Some Soccer!

Caitlyn started soccer and well let's just say she's warming up to it. We are not sure what's going on but her fist time on the field she did great and then out of the blue she started crying!!!! She was done and wanted to go home. Well the next day she was once again excited to play some soccer. She started out great...then out of the blue she cried again!!!! It's only been her first week, so we must keep trying! I never played soccer as a child so I was new to the reversable jersey and strange long socks. No worries because Sonny took over and got her ready. Dad even went out and bought her chin guards and a soccer ball. He even offered to team coach! So coach daddy is on the field with her at all times. I'm learning the sport just incase Caitlyn has a change of attitude in the next few weeks of her short season. When off the field at home she can't wait to get back to the field and play with her friends. If I let her she would wear her jersey and socks all day. Time will tell, but for now we are not giving up!

Harvest Already????

Please tell me why I already have orange pumpkins in my pumkin patch? Did I plant too early? Is this normal? I have always wanted to grow my own pumpkins and this year I(well Caitlyn)successfully planted seeds. I was a little skeptical due to stories I have heard on how they can take over a whole garden. In fact I was having nightmares about an overgrown patch because when I asked Caitlyn where all the pumpkin seeds were, holding up an empty packet, she response by saying "I planted all of them mommy!" Well, our pumpkin patch did take over just a little but for a first time experiment I think they are doing great...except for the fact that three of them have already turned a beautiful orange and it is only late AUGUST!!!! There are still green ones and just today I saw newly sprouting ones that will probably be ready for Halloween, so I guess I shouldn't worry.

Here are my prize pumpkins! Don't they look great with my ALREADY fall table centerpiece. Can you tell I am just a tad excited for fall to arrive!

Summer Fun!

I thought Heidi was going to blog this but she seems to be falling behind in this area? Too much time on facebook? Reorganizing her kitchen? PTA president duties? Creating new quilts? Designing new aprons? Well, I guess I'll take a few moments and blog our time away from home!

Camping for the summer was always on our list of things to do as a family when we were kids. Big Bear, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and tons other places we would travel to for a fun family camping trip! I miss those days. Since being here in Utah gives us the canyons and campgrounds just minutes aways why not take advantage of those close to home sites. Diamond Campround in Spanish Fork Canyon was our camping adventure this year. Due to the fact that we decided last minute to camp on one of the most busiest day's of the year ...Pioneer weekend, this was where we ended up and it wasn't too bad. Despite the lack of trees in our area we toughed out the blazing sun and had a blast! Family, awesome dutch oven, skinny dipping in the river, snake visits, sage smelling minute long camp fires, skunk invading our "who forgot to put up the trash" episode and cousin playing from dusk till dawn! We must do this again except this time I will be in charge of the trash!!!!
What happends at the river stays at the river. O.K it wasn't that bad! At least T.J kept his pants on! Chris asked me NOT to post a particluar picture so I will respect his wishes but use it as revenge if he shall ever do me wrong!

Here are all the cousins... who remind me so much of my childhood camping trips with my cousins!

We were so glad Matt, Kelly, Fayth, Bubba and T.J, Nicole, Hannah, Adam and Caleb decided to come! You know we all just started something that must become a tradition! Where are we camping next?

Dinners were well thought out by Heidi and her master dutch oven skills. This was the only picture I had other than Chris doing cleaning duties. Meals included ribs, mountain man breakfast, chicken and rice and the ultimate peach cobbler.

Camp fires are a must and we sure did have many...many that is that ran out quick with limited fire wood and plenty of sage brush! So T.J decided to cut up some of his own wood! Way to go mountain man!

Caitlyn and Claire asked me to take these MERMAID pictures of them on the rock! Very cute girls!

The girls were throwing rocks or old coals from another camp site into the fire pit and Zach deccided to pick one up and through one too well he picked up a hot coal on the dutch oven instead, hence the sad look on his face!

We had lots of fun and hopefully soon as summer comes so quickly to an end we can do just one more trip! Here are some random pictures I had to post!

Doggie Treats Anyone????

Today I decided Shamrock and Coco needed doggie treats. They have been such great and loyal pets! Well, trying to be a savvy shopper, I couldn't wait for a good sale and coupon so I decided to make my own homemade treats! A little aprehensive but well worth the attempt. These easy homemade treats were quick and very inexpensive to make! Here's what you need if you want to stock up on treats for your loyal friend!

Peanut Butter Dog Buscuits
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
3 tbl peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla
4 - 5 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. oats

Blend all wet ingredients. Blend all dry ingredients(I used 3 cups of flour first, then added the rest after both were mixed together to form a dough ball)

Then mix both together.
Roll out dough and use a doggie bone cookie cutter or whatever you desire. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 - 20 minutes @400 degrees until buscuits are crisp and hard(not burned!!!) Store in an airtight container. This recipe makes about 4 dozen depending on your sizes of cut-outs.

What's that new car in my driveway??? Our Colorado Adventure!

Estes Park Colorado is a vacation experience we will never ever forget. Colorado this time of year is beautiful. Our scenic drive through the state was awesome. The mountains are covered with every shade of green and the Rocky Mountains on that side of town are spectacular! If you love the great outdoors with a little hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, tubing, rafting etc., etc, then this is the place away from home to explore a little of each!

Our long time friends, the DeSantiagos once again joined us on a vacation adventure! Mr. Tom Tom their new friend the GPS helped us find our way. Mr. Tom Tom who judges in terms of meters, threw us off at times but we successfully arrived at our first destination, Steam Boat Springs, Colorado. This place was similar to Estes Park and many people we met were trying to decided which town they preferred! Our one day experience was just enough time to test the pool, sauna and steam room and then ventured into town for dinner!

We were back on the road for our final destination Estes Park! Now a little more familiar with Mr. Tom Tom's directional guide we drive right into Colorado's Rocky Mountain Nation Park! Nature is breathtaking hence my favorite quote: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the number of moment that take our breath away.

Climbing higher and higher we reached the Alpine visitor center, exactly 11,796 feet high. We decided to snap that $20.00 family photo(made up for our entrance fee into the park).

Exhilarating......they say your on top of the world and that is exactly what it felt like! We were feeling great, all seemed possible...and BOOOOMMMMM! The best way I can express this feeling is relating this to a child about to take a lick of his creamy, over sized scoop of ice cream on a sweet sugar cone! Just when he is about to take his first lick when.......huhh.....it falls to the ground. He was just on top of the world, everything was awesome and within seconds his dreams are crushed!

Well to make a long story short our van gave out on us just two minutes away from our cabin! The transmition was in ruins! Thankfully we had the DeSantiagos to help us deal with this unexpected trial. So on our first day arriving we pile into their van, arrive at the cabin and wait....wait...wait.. all on no breakfast or lunch until our car scenario is solved or at least for the evening! But wait...Ray! Our friend Ray flew into Denver to spend the week with us! He sits and waits patiently for 2 hours until we finally arrive with a jam packed van. It was a big joke to have us open the back van door and have him pile in on the floor next to us for the two our ride back to the cabin!

I must say this trial didn't ruin our fun. Life continues and our vacation was a blast despite the obvious!
Bubba Gump Shrimp was our dinner stop for the evening! This place has been our family tradition while on vacation. The last time we ate there was in Frisco with the DeSantiagos, Ray Ray and us, me being 5 months prego. It was nice to finally have Caitlyn join in on this tradition!

Something a few months ago we jokingly discussed became a reality. This was definitely not on our list of things to do on vacation however it was crossed off within 3 hrs and we were driving back into Estes Park with a new to us 2005 Ford Mercury Mariner. What a surprise but also a sure sense of security for our family and the rest of our vacation! We arrive back in town believing the rest is in the past when we come to find out Matthew's tooth was infected and his whole side of face is swollen!!! So off to emergency they go as we again wait for a miracle! Thankfully the emergency doctor on duty also new some dental work which was a miracle for us! We decided then at their return that this was just the beginning of our vacation and so it was!

Downtown Estes was fun. A historic and tourist place filled with lots of what I call a reminder that those little tragic episodes in our lives are just temporary and so minuscule compared to eternity! We all had our share of homemade mouthwatering ice cream. We were back on top of the world and ready for a great week! I actually spotted about 5 creameries just walking distance from each other! Hummm one for every night?

Frank, Ivanna, the kids and Ray had never been fishing! So the perfect place we found to guarantee a successful catch was at the Trout Haven Fishing Pond! No license required, however what ever you catch is .95 cents a lb, So we figure this was the best alternative than siting at a lake possibly for hours with an expensive paid out of state fishing license and no fish! The children were so excited when they caught their first fish ever! This would be #2 for Caitlyn.

Sonny even tried to fish the Big Thompson River just outside our cabin. The rapid river sound was amazing to fall asleep and wake up to!

Our hiking adventure led us to Lily Lake State Park, a .5 mile hike which was perfect for our group! We didn't want to end up carrying anyone back so this mostly flat trail gave us a taste of the great outdoors and just how relaxing nature is!

If you have ever seen the movie "The Shining"(Here's Johnny!) well.... this was the place it was filmed or at least part of it! The Stanely Hotel located on top of the hill overseeing Estes Park! We didn't see any spirits floating around even though they say a few of the rooms are haunted.

Relaxation was one of our top priorities on our list of things to do! So I'm not sure you can call swimming,Rock Band, WII fit to help with our expanding stomachs or Frank's stressful and disappointing Laker game relaxing but it was fun!

We decided to do an all day trip into Denver. First stop was the Celestial Time Tea factory! This was a much needed aroma therapy session, especially in the mint room! The art is what I found interesting. Each box has it's own piece of art work. Once the flavor is created it's given to the artist and then inspiration takes place! I really enjoyed this FREE tour! It gave us all the urge to try new flavors you can't find at home!

The Buckhorn Exchange was our next stop for lunch. Sonny and I saw this restaurant featured on the food network channel months ago so we new this was a must on our list! This is the oldest restaurant in Denver with liquor License #1. It was founded by famous cowboy “Shorty Scout”, the youngest member of Buffalo Bill Cody's band of scouts. There are over 500 animals and birds displayed inside. Buffalo, elk, quail, game hen and prime rib are some of the dishes you can choose from. Exotic appetizers such as rattlesnake, alligator tail and rocky mountain oysters are also available so I just had to order a plate of the one and only...Rocky Mountain Oysters! I must say I had every one trying some, except for Frank and Ivanna...they didn't give in! We all had a BALL and they tasted like....chicken just a little chewy and a slight after taste! It was worth trying once. Matthew even got a free slice of cheesecake for trying one!

Lodo...lower downtown Colorado was our way of walking off lunch and making room for dinner! With in a few hours we were eating once again at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Frank is OSF manager here in Orem, so he made an attempt to stop by and check up on his sister store. Also how can you say no to a FREE meal?

Food, Fun and Friendship...a much needed vacation despite all the mishaps!

Our homemade “Last Supper” at our cabin as Ivanna called it was another of our delicious and over served plates! Salmon, buttered rice, spinach salad and for the second time BBQ brown sugared pineapple(We think better than Tucanos).

One of the last restaurants we tried in Denver was Jack n Grill, another TV episode of Food Network seen this time by the DeSantiagos the morning we were leaving for our road trip... We all tried the 7lb breakfast burrito, that is we all shared one!

What a vacation and a time to remember....Oh wait here is THE CAR!

Memorial Day Memories!

A day to honor our fallen soldiers. A time to reflect the past and enjoy our freedom. I am proud to be an American and live in this country despite the problems we may have had or are currently resolving. We have our freedom and I thank those soldiers that died for our freedom....for our country! I am proud to have a husband who served our country and would proudly return to defend our freedom. I love you Sonny! We decided to attend the Payson memorial at the Payson cemetary that is held every year. The program was definitly a wonderful way to show our appreciation for these soldiers. The American Legion dressed and armed with thier rifles. They did a 21 gun salute, Miss Payson sang the National Anthem, a retired officer led us in the pledge of alligience, the Payson High school dance team perform a piece titled...Fallen Soldiers.

The Maloy monkey's were with us one last day so we all tagged along and enjoyed the program. When we got their the gentleman that sat beside us stated we had beautiful girls. He reached into his pocket and pulled out 5 silver $1.00 coins. He handed one to each child. The look on thier faces was breathtaking.. a simple act of kindness they will never forget. Then a lady walks by selling red paper poppies. Well, leaving our wallets at home was not a problem. The same kind hearted gentleman reached into his pocket and pulled out a dollar and bought one for each child! What a day to remember and follow. Simple kindness that can change a life forever. Isabelle said later, "He called us beautiful!"

After the program the kids were able to walk through the cemetary. They looked at the decorated graves and noticed that some said mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and with surprise baby!

Next on our list was our traditional BBQ! We ate juicy(well one burnt) hamburgers and hotdogs, steaks and all the sides and desserts. The kids enjoyed the slip 'n' slide while we just sat and enjoyed how the weather turned out perfect. Sonny, Frank and the kids enjoyed a game of hacky sack, while Ivanna tried to catch up on some sleep from her previous graveyard shift...oh and thier eagerly awaited night to see No Doubt in concert!

It was a great weekend full of meaning and memories!

Memorial Day Prep!

In honor of Memorial day the Maloy monkey's have been preparing for our BBQ! Look at what we've been doing!

On our calendar of activites we decided to do a hair and nail day. So we just added some red, white and blue!

We also made some necklaces that I think turned out really cute!

Today Caitlyn ended her 2nd year of preschool! Just one more year in order to enter Kindergarten. Her cousins, Grandma, daddy and mommy were there to cheer her on!

I've read the Shack and despite the controversy I really enjoyed it. It may be because I have a firm foundation of my faith and what I believe that I can accept the author's intrepretation of the trinity. I thought it was actually quite interesting and a great analogy of the characters in this book. A different perfective that is not the norm. Isn't that what our world is all about. If your different, unordinary...it's just not so easy to accept. Without giving the book away, I have chosen some quotes that I took delight in.

My trip to Tucson Arizona for a dance conference was awesome! I am so glad I had the opportunity to return. This was the 27th annual conference held. I attended one about 10 years ago so I was ready, excited and prepared for what I remembered the last time I attended. My mind was racing, however my body was a little in shock the first day until the 8 hours of dancing a day settled in. I survived along with the others, so I didn't feel out of place. I was able to learn a new region with a total of 5 dances to bring back to my students! I caught up with old friends and made new ones that I hope to see next year! What an awesome experience it was and a wonderful feeling to see so many others enjoying Danza Folklorica. Our Maestro(instructor)is a renowned folklorico dance instructor with his own dance company in Mexico and also the Fine Arts director for the University of Colima. Rafael Zamarripa is not only limited to dance instructor. He is also a well known sculptor and artist. His sense of humor and kindness was exceptional. Folkloristas consider him one of the best. I was fortunate to spend almost everyday with him and hear about some of his amazing accomplishment. This man has traveled to more places than I can imagine with his group and was soon on his way to return to Europe. The best lesson I learned from him was not dance, though very well taught, but as a teacher on how to treat and train your young and aspiring students. He stated a great dancer is also a great person, and that personality should be carried on and off stage. He was an exceptional example of that lesson. Teaching my students on how to repsect each other, respect others of other cultures and respecting themselves will in turn produce great dancers! Unfortunaelty I was not able to take pictures of the dance rehearsals but I was able to catch a few before the performance.

Yes, this is me and Maestro Zamarripa...I actually fit in to my first Jalisco dress! The 8 hours a day dancing really helped!

If you notice these muscians ranged from the very young to the very experienced. It was taught by Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, recent Grammy Winners!

Luscious Lemon Pie!

We had a wonderful suprise visit from my Aunt and Uncle who came bearing gifts! The best gift ever from Tia and Tio were a pair of princess roller skates and scooter from uncle Miko that Caitlyn simply adores!!!! She has not stopped skating or scooting since! Here she is with her friend Kylee, who probably has not stopped skating either!

Fresh grown citrus is something we miss from Cali... oranges, lemons, limes! Well one of the boxes contained GIGANTIC lemons from thier very own lemon tree!

So I have made freshly squeezed lemonade and a first attempt at lemon meringue pie! My uncle, the chef, helped me with some secret tips!

I am very pleased with the results! Just had to share some pictures of this very tasty, lemony, presentable pie! Enjoy...we did!

Day 7&8: Out Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Christ

Saturday was intentionally meant for a no blog day! We considered it a time of reflection on our Savior Jesus Christ and the things he has done for us. This was the second day that Jesus lay in the tomb. We watched a video(animated) to help Caitlyn remember the events we talked about this past week. We also thought of this day as a time to remember family and friends who have died, and all the work that might need to be done for them, temples, baptisms. We talked about Grandpa Phillips, who Caitlyn fondly remembers and still to this day continues to say he is in heaven with her baby brother. I remember all my family and friends who have passed on and can imagine the celebration they must be having in heaven.

How wonderful the weather is today, clouds have dispersed and the sun in shining through as the Heaven's are saying, He is Alive! I just had to take a picture of how beautiful it was. Isn't it just beautiful? Megan, your home completes the picture!

Today in church I could not help but notice the sun shining brightly through the window on each person that chose to give their testimony. In Young Women's we had a wonderful lesson on the true meaning of Easter and though my friends lesson didn't go as she planned I thought it was the perfect lesson, filled with a great spirit! I've learned that when things sometimes don't go exactly the way we plan, I'd like to think that possibly somehow the Lord, intervenes a little to plan for things to go the way He thinks they should and what needs to be heard(especially with the youth)...today was an exceptional example....So simple a lesson with a powerful spirit! Thanks friend!

Our family is wonderful and we are thankful that they were willing to celebrate Easter on Saturday due to our conflicting work schedules...so as a family we decided for the first time to celebrate together at TUCANOS! I stuffed my face until my tummy hurt, and what a terrible evening I had at work! My tummy hurt but it was worth the endless pounds of meat!

This morning Caitlyn ran to our replicated tomb. Mommy, mommy!!! He's gone! Is He in Heaven Now? When is Jesus gonna come down cause I wanna see Him? I was so glad to hear her questions and know that in some way she has a better connection and relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. We did the Easter basket tradition I grew up with this morning with a few candies and some bubbles, However, I've really enjoyed our week long walk with Our Savior, especially this time of year.It's a time for new beginnings and a fresh start. It's a remembrance of our purpose here on earth and a time to reevaluate our goals. I am truly thankful for my faith and the testimony I have gained from church, service, prayer, family and friends! I know my purpose. I may not have all the details but I know I will be guided and never left alone.

Day 6: Our Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Christ!

Just when you have all the great ideas and excitment of starting a new thing life get's in the way and day to day becomes chaotic. Well, we've been braving the storm and not giving in to skipping a day! Also, Caitlyn would not even think of letting a day go by without a lesson! Today, Good Friday, we talked about Jesus final moments until his crucifixion and death. He was surrounded mostly amongst people who hated Him simply because they feared Him...they feared the unknown, they feared their future. Are we not still experiencing this today...because what we cannot see we cannot believe? I love the quote from the Polar Express movie,"Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see." From His arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane to laying Him in the tomb, we decided to make these events imaginable..for a 4 year old. We constructed out of twigs, cardboard and rocks a scene more understandable for Caitlyn. She was excited to have her fisherprice daddy's start acting out thier part! We placed Jesus in the tomb wrapped in a papertowel and the soldier stand guard by the rock until Sunday! We are so glad we decided to start this new tradition for our family! I know Caitlyn will keep these memories close to heart and remember our fun and meaningful lessons.

Day 5: Our Week Long Walk with our Savior Jesus Christ!

Today was a busy day however we made time for our Day 5 activity! Our discussion was about the Last Supper. Caitlyn made a connection with Sunday Sacrament and Jesus when we ate pieces of bread and drank small cups filled with water. We feel we somehow gave meaning to what was once a treat during sacrament to having these two items remind her of Jesus everytime she partakes on Sunday! Our big discussion was John 13:34..That ye may love one another; as I have loved you. How easy that is to teach a child, but how hard it can be to carry out in our own everyday lives. This comment alone can be it's own blog! We also talked a bit about Judas, the one who betrays Jesus all for a mere 30 coins. Friends are a big part of Caitlyn's life right now and what a perfect time to explain friendship, trust, loyalty and respect! However, our highlight activity of the evening was washing our baby girls feet just as Jesus did to His disciples! We each took turns washing each other's feet. What an unforgetable way to show service to a child! Caitlyn loved this and said....Mommy, can you do this all the time! If she only knew how much more I would do for her and her daddy!

Day 4: Our Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Christ!

One of the events that took place during this week was the special dinner Martha and Mary(Lazareth's sister's and the man Jesus raised from the dead)held for Him. They honored Him, thanked Him and offered Him what little they had. Today we talked about service and sacrifice and what we must do or give up in order to keep our faith strong and follow the example of our Savior! Mary used her very expensive perfume(worth about a year's wage) and poured it on Jesus feet. She then wiped His feet with her hair, which was a sign of humility. The jealous, angry and one that should have been Jesus friend(Judas)asked, Why would you use your valuable investment on Jesus when you can sell it an give it to the poor? She gave the very best she had with a sincere and pure heart! So talking about service and sacrifice we asked Caitlyn to think of all the little children that don't have toys to play with. Being something she can relate to she said they would be sad if they didn't have toys to play with. We asked her to look through her toys and choose some that she could share with those children so they could be happy! Well, she choose a few and we have decided to further the activity and do a deep sweep through her closet and toys and prepare a box for a child in need! How happy we were to see her look through her toys and give willingly to another.

What a sweet smelling sacrifice Mary gave that continues to linger in our home today!

Day 3 Our Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Christ

Though there were many who despised Jesus and plotted before his eyes his own death He continued to teach and set the example that He wants us to follow. So why is it so hard for me when something doesn't go our way, things seem to fall apart, life seems unbearable....I tend to give up ..only for a second and then I realize that He knows me and would never give me more than I can handle. What a wonderful feeling! I was wondering just how to explain this to Caitlyn and then I came upon this scripture,
"'Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours'" (Mark 11:22-23).

Today we talked about Faith, the Holy Ghost and the Power of Prayer! Can you really believe something is there even when you can't see it or touch it? Who is that soft spoken whisper that keeps us safe and helps us make our daily desicions? Does Heavenly Father really hear our prayers? We played the blind fold game which Caitlyn loved and softly whispered directions to guide her across the obstacled room to a warm cup of cocoa. That was the best way I thought I could explain to her. Simply because I cannot see Jesus or hold his hand I know and have faith that He is still there. The Holy Ghost helps me find Him and when I get that warm feeling inside my body, just like hot cocoa, I KNOW that He lives!

The rest of the day Caitlyn whispered to me with a soft spoken voice and reminded me at dinner time that we need to say our prayers so Jesus can hear us!

This is how I would like to picture Jesus just days before His death, contemplating His great purpose and tremendous love for us!

Day 2: Our Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Chirst!

One of the wonderful events that occurred during this week was the cleansing of the Temple...and what a great way to erge my daughter to keep her room clean...to motivate myself and husband to want to clean and have a house of order. Yesterday Caitlyn did not want to clean her disaster of a room." Mommy, my tummy hurts!" or "Mommy I'm too tired!" I'm sure we have all heard these numberous times from our children! I let it go and knew her messy room would be the perfect example for today! So today we had a picnic outside! I love this weather...not too hot, not to cold, but just right! We made white Easter lily's that turned out really cute, by simply tracing our handprints. To me it represents purity and innocence. It also represents a new season, a new birth, such as the resurrection of Christ. On Caitlyn's terms we talked about how special the Temple is and what it means to us! Thanks to primary she knew quite a bit. We related the temple to her little body and her special room and home! Well I must say the enthusiasm to clean her room all by herself was not what I had pictured but with my help she voluntarily cleaned and after we were done she says...If my room is messy Jesus will be sad and if I clean it and pray then maybe he'll let my baby brother come down! Now how do I respond to that????

DAY 1 Our Week Long Walk With Our Savior Jesus Christ!

As a family we decided to begin a week long walk with our Savior Jesus Christ! I thought this would be the best way to teach Caitlyn the true meaning of Easter rather than the commercial view of candy, treats and toys from the Easter Bunny! We began today with Palm Sunday, Our Savior's triumpant entry into Jerusalem. As the beginning of the Holy week we read scriptures Matt 21: 1-11. Caitlyn painted and colored a palm leaf out of construction paper. Daddy was the donkey as Caitlyn played Jesus. She climbed on his back as daddy crawled through the house. I waved the palm she made as she rode by and greeted her with praises! She loved it! She even continued to ask questions about why the people were so happy and why Jesus went to the city. I'm not sure when(time of day)when Jesus returned to Jerusalem, but it was amazing to me that right after we did our activity the clouds disappeared and the sun shined right through! It was a wonderful feeling! We're looking forward to DAY 2!

I'm a Juice-aholic!

I'm a juiceaholic and I love it! My Mr. Juice Man Jr. Rocks! For quite some time I have been determined to change my eating habits! Success has not always been the case. I don't want to necessarily cut down on eating but watch what types of foods I'm eating daily. For one I've noticed my daily intake of fruits and vegetables is not where it should be! It's recommended we eat 5-9 servings daily to help keep our bodies healthy. Is there really enough time in the day to do that...Yes but I just get so busy and when life becomes overwhelming I simply pop anything into my mouth to satisfy hunger pains and keep me going! And obviously my bad habits affect my family! Well, I've found a quick and easy way for me to get all the goodness fruits and vegetables have to offer. Every time I juice I know I'm getting a large amount of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and enzymes without having to digest and breakdown the food first. You might think it can get pretty pricy but Reams often(weekly) has great sales on fruits and veggies. This week I bought apples for 69 cents lb, oranges for 29 cent lb, 2lb bag of carrots for 99 cents, grapefruits for 29 cents each, Kiwi's for 19 cents, and more! As I have been experimenting with juicing and combining different fruits and vegetables I know I can get a full glass of juice from usually only half of the fruits or veggies I use! Caitlyn loves to help me and she even drinks a shot a day to get the nutrients she needs despite my sometimes lazy and neglected cooking ways! I have been juicing for about 2 weeks and I can definitly see a difference in my energy level, my motivation. I don't get as hungry throughout the day, no munchy cravings...my pants are not as snug...YEAH!!!!!! I've only begun...until my next post...START JUICING!!!!!!

What a wonderful Anniversary gift from Caitlyn.....doing the dishes after our special dinner all by herself for the first time and loving it! I really didn't do anything other than start the dishwasher! Let's hope she continues to love this chore and relieve mommy from this dreadful daily duty!

Bear Lake!

This weekend we decided to make a short trip up to Bear Lake! A first time journey that we plan to make once again in the summer. No skies or snowmobiles followed behind us up Logan Canyon, however the breathtaking scenery and relaxation from work and stress was enough to enjoy for the day. A few stores and restaurants were open for the winter. Unfortunately the ones that claimed to have the world's best raspberry shakes were closed...WHAT???? Well, we did get to have one at a local pizza place. We were able to check out the small town of Garden City and get some ideas from locals on what to do when we return for the summer.

We even ended up in Idaho for about 5 minutes and we didn't even stop to get a lottery ticket. We could be millionaires right now!

The view of Bear Lake however, was breathtaking from the pier. A bit chilly this time of year but the water was that talked about famous turquoise color. We can't wait to return for the summer and enjoy some sorely missed California sandy beach similarities.

According to folklore, Bear Lake holds a lake monster. Has anyone ever seen this Bear Lake monster? To bad it's a made up story because I'm positive I saw something out there!

Thank goodness for indoor pools!

The trip back home was long but the scenery was amazing driving back down Logan Canyon. It reminded me of how much I really enjoy Utah and all the outdoor activities we need to take advantage of...like hiking, camping, visiting hot springs, touring caves and so much more! I've brought out my summer to do list from last year and hope to check off a few more activities this summer and possibly add more!

We made a quick stop at the Logan Temple which was a first sight for me.

What a wonderful weekend to kick start our 12th anniversary!

A Dog Named Sex

Everybody who has a dog calls him "Rover" or "Boy". I call mine "Sex". He's a great pal, but he has caused me a great deal of embarrassment.

When I went to a city hall to renew his dog license, I told the clerk I would like a license for Sex. He said, "I'd like one, too!"
Then, I said, "But this is a dog." He said he didn't care what she looked like. Then, I said, "You don't understand, I've had Sex since I was nine years old." He winked and said, "You must have been quite a kid."

When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I told the motel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me and a special room for Sex.
He said, "You don't need a special room. As long as you pay your bill, we don't care what you do." I said, "Look, you don't seem to understand. Sex keeps me awake at night." The clerk said, "Funny -- I have the same problem."

One day, I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began, the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just standing there, looking disappointed. I told him I had planned to have Sex in the contest. He told me I should have sold my own tickets. "But you don't understand," I said, "I had hoped to have Sex on TV." He said, "Now that cable is all over the place, it's no big deal anymore."

When my wife and I separated, we went to court to fight for custody of the dog. I said, "Your honor, I had Sex before I was married." The judge said, "The courtroom isn't a confessional. Stick to the case please."
Then, I told him that after I was married, Sex left me. He said, "Me, too."

Last night, Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking all over town for him. A cop came over to me and asked. "What are you doing in this alley at 4 o'clock in the morning?" I told him that I was looking for Sex. My case comes up Friday.

Here is Shamrock our proctector! He is a guardian of the front door with his bark when the doorbell rings and then licks whom ever is there once they come in. Although some people find him intimidating is he the greatest dog ever! He is a loving, patient, still playful in his old age and a loyal companion.

This is Coco, our mut. She is a bit overweight but loves to snuggle. Like a woman she has Shamrock by her side who most often lets her have her way.....first into a room to lay on the dog pillow or first to eat from the dog bowl. A few years shy of Shamrock but still as playful as a pup!

Thought of this person and realize his/her curiosity has reason. I have faith that this peaked curiosity will someday have meaning! We all know the wonders of the world works in mysterious ways. How amazing it would be to know just a small part of these inexplicable doings. But then imagine how our lives would be if we knew the answers to everything!I firmly believe curiosity will eventually somehow, someway be answered in a manner that can affirm some kind of truth. Most of us relate curiosity to killing the cat, well because I love this person and want the best outcome for thier family I see Curiosity enpowering the cat. My curiosity has been peaked. I ask myself what does the future beholds on behalf of this reason? Why must curiosity exist? How is this person's current experience going to affect themselves or other's? HOW? WHY? WHEN? WHERE? Time will only tell!

A Princess Affair!

Once upon a time....
Caitlyn was cordially invited to a Princess Party and boy was she excited! I was determined to try some new hairstyles that I really don't have the patience for! For one Caitlyn's hair in all uneven due to a previous haircut she decided to try on herself a while ago. It's growing out but still we have a ways to go! Thankfully her hair is curly so it's not so noticeable and a few hairstyles can cover it up! With some help from the site "hairformyprincess" I came up with this:

I think Princess Caitlyn's maid did an O.K job on the hair style...she's learning but with a little more pay maybe she can do some hair wonders in the near future!!!!

It was alot of fun for a whole bunch of little princess. They ate, made tiara's,played games, colored a pretty princess and decorated their own prince charming.

Princess Becca's maid(Mommy Kristi) did an awesome job with her hair!

Princess Jesse was just so darn cute!

A New Years Outting!

We decided to start the new year right and bond as a family! So on New Years we ending up in Salt Lake for lunch and a stroll down the Gateway. We ate at Dodo's Restaurant(funny huh!)which was good. The best was our dessert...Nestle Toll House Cookie Pie!

Then we strolled down for a quick shower. I was surprised they were on for the winter..must be heated.

On our way back home we stopped at Tai-Pan. I was excited because Sonny was excited....We'll Sonny only lasted to be exact 5 minutes and took off to wait in the car. What!!!! He was expecting something totally different!
So my tour was unfortnately short!
We then stopped in Draper where we were able to see Porter Rockwell!
I see similarities in this photo....is it Grandpa Ralph???? Oh no it's Porter Rockwell himself, a long-haired gunfighter and protector of his people! There are great stories of this man who was bodyguard of his best friend Joseph Smith. Sonny has just finished reading all 4 Porter Rockwell Chronicles so now it's my turn to enjoy his life's adventure!

We Ended our evening at the Desanitago's and a visit from the Albright's.....Where were the other Maloy's...Sick( So Sorry we really missed you guys!) My goal for 2009 is to plan a 2010 Party with them included! We've missed 2 years in a row already!
Our Argentine friends have these new year traditions.... First we ate Empanadas!
Then we did the norm and count down....3, 2, 1 Happy New Year!

We then each recieved 12 pennies. We walked out in the freezing cold to the middle of the street faced north and threw the pennies over our shoulder for good luck....it was great until Kristi threw her pennies south! I'll be praying for you Kristi!

We had a few sparklers going!

We darted inside for warmth and then recieved 12 grapes. We ate a grape and made a wish for each month....Nikko after about his 5th said..."Here mom you do the rest for me!

Hot & Caramel Sweet!

My first new successful recipe for 2009! What could be better than a warm cup of cider on a cold day to start off the new year! My favorite all time drink at Starbuck's is the Hot Caramel Apple Cider! If you haven't tried it you need to...or just make it at home. Heidi actually prompted my curiosity so off to Smith's I went for apple cider and whipped cream...all other ingredients I had at home...you might too! Not only does it look pretty it taste even better! I even think my version taste WAY better than Starbucks, I added more caramel! Sorry Heidi, I couldn't wait for your sample...I'm impatient! I would have shared it today but I was off to work with a warm cup of cider! Let's just say this was a sample to prove it's greatness! Doesn't it look delicious! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

This was the recipe I used..I justed altered the amount of caramel!(Be Creative)
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1 1/2 tbl caramel sauce or caramels melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
whipped cream

Someone asked me once why I do these things. Well you might think I'm crazy inviting 13 children most all between the ages of 3 - 5 yrs over for a party( so I have a few nieces and nephews),and try to retain order and chaos among a gang full of hyper active young kids, or spend a little extra money this time of year for treats and decorations, or risk a beverage or food spill on carpet, then transform my house in detail into the theme of the party.....OK I admit I'm a little crazy....but it's sooooo much fun! It's exciting to imagine it all possible and then make it a reality. The brainstorming, planning and designing is the best part! The results are even more rewarding! Why do I do it? Honestly, it brings back a certain kind of feeling that makes me feel like a kid again. I remember the kid parties my mother's and aunt's put on for all the nieces and nephews and how much fun they were. I remember our yearly camping trips with the family, I remember always being with my cousins and going to new and different places. Our parties certainly never lacked food! I don't always remember the detail of each outing, especially when I was younger but I do remember our families strong bond that I still yearn for till this day. We grow up, move away, have families and simply become so busy with work and other activities. I do these parties for memories...memories for my daughter and hope that someday she can hold on to and treasure in her adult years as I have. I believe she's inherited a little of my party planning because Cailtyn actually initiated this party! It all began with the famous "Polar Express" movie. "Mommy, can Addie and Kylee come over and watch it with me and we can get hot chocolate and cookies? And so it began!

With Sonny being a Union Pacific Machinist, we thought this party was perfect for us and of course Sonny was the spectaular "Conductor" He did an awseome job and tried to have as much fun as I was. He even played the part a few times!

We of course had to transform the house into the movie and I think we pulled it off for 3 - 5 yr olds.

Retaining order and control was all based on this one activity card. Groups of 3 - 4 alternated actvities and it seemed to work very well for our crowd!

Here is Santa's Workshop! My cousin Kristy was so nice to last minute help out with crafts!

Next we had a Winter Wonderland of face painting! Clarissa and Matthew helped out and had creations of thier own. What was suppose to be a small design on the cheek became a full face design for some. Matthew even decided to create his own image of BYU until I informed him this was a christmas party! Great job guys and oh I apologize now for any stained faces on the day's to follow! I promise though all the ingredients are safe!

The Elves Den was another adventure. Cousin Jacob and David were the perfect look and size(Don't you agree)They seemed to have a blast paying games with the kids! Thanks guys!

Mrs. Claus Kitchen was supervised by the one and only Mrs. Heidi Maloy my sister in law who knows exactly why I do these party...She knows because she is just as crazy as I am when it comes to party planning, possibly even more! Thanks Heidi

Once all the activities were done we started the movie. Throughout the movie we played a few games and activies according to the scenes! We of course started with hot cocoa and treats! Surprised and grateful, My brother-in-law Chris played the Chef. With smiles and a tray full of treats he danced into the room! Thanks Chris, you really surprised me! Shall you host the next party!!!!

Once we reached the north pole we had our elves come out with a special surprise! We started with one grand present for Becca who opened her present to find one for Jesse who opened to find one for Matt who....you get the idea. It was fun and exciting to see thier faces. At the end three children had treats in their small boxes and a special note inside saying " Are you Naughty or Nice? Will you share your treats with your friends here today?" Of course all chose Nice!

We ended with writing or drawing letters for Santa. Caitlyn was excited to give everyone a bell as a favor and a note saying of course BELIEVE! Parents...can you hear the bell ringing or did they bring home an old broken one?

We had lots of fun and tons of memories to cherish! Thanks to all who made this party much more memorable for us!

Part of the party planning process is making our ideas a reality! Well, we didn't have a real train and we couldn't see the real Santa, but I'm positive we could all really FEEL those invisible things among us and that my friends is what life is all about!

I've become my mother in so many ways! I'm sure my daughter will wonder why I made her do this in a couple of years just as I did when my mother put me in this costume and made me take pumpkin pies to our neighbors....Embarrassing!!!!!
Caitlyn, however seemed to have so much fun wearing this to preschool and showing her freinds!

I've given up on your home phone and cell phone services!!! They are crappy!!!!Unless your simply ignoring my calls then just let me know so I don't feel like a pest! I left a message on your house phone earlier today regarding Thanksgiving dinner. There are a few changes since I spoke to you last and a few requests from the Desantiago's. We ate at Applebee's today...did you know about the 2 meals and an appetizer for $20.00!!! Oriental chix salad and boneless buffalo wings..yummm! I tried to call you earlier(not to mention the week prior)...I was at Bed Bath and Beyond being it was just down the street and I was going a little crazy in the clearance section. Saw some stuff you might have been interested in but.....you ignored my call again....oh and then I was at Roberts with a 50 % coupon.....and then off to the Quilted Bear with a gift card and again.... you ignored my calls.....OK so I think I get it now....your ignoring my calls! Hopefully your internet services are cooperating with this last resort of an attempt to contact you....but then again it could just be my messages!

It has been 4 years since we moved from Cali and I must say we do still miss our out of the blue family get togethers and our what the heck lets hang out tonight dates with friends. However, our new home here in Utah has been great! Our neighborhood is awesome. I can positively say I know everyone in our loop around. The families are great and have become good friends. Caitlyn loves the fact that she can just run across the street play with her friends and then together hop over to another friends house! We have made some great friends that we can truly rely on. So I've been contemplating on what I should do for my neighbors this holiday season to let them know we're thinking of them and how special they are to us. Tis the season to be.........FAT & JOLLY!!!!!
I love this time of year because of the obvious....FOOD! Isn't it just great! Treats, good food and more treats! With Thanksgiving just a few weeks away and Christmas around the corner I want to try new recipes and simply enjoy a good home cooked...anything! Soups have been my most recent attempt.....Baked Potato soup, Chili(copycat Wendy's which turned out great), Onion soup, and some good ol' Chicken noodle! I've also been a little crazy with pumpkin!Not to mention that I have become apart of the canning world! Thank's to Cally for her super helpful tips and her pressure cooker I was able to can pumpkin like crazy! Pumpkin bread , pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pie have taken over the kitchen. Sonny even bought me a water bath set and now I can consider my self an offical Utard! I have the van, I started my own canning...oh wait I haven't hunted, made dutch oven and said..."Oh my Heck"! Well, not quite a utard I guess. I am so looking forward to our Thanksgiving dinner! Especially the desserts.
Today I had to make a treat for our Young women and Men...we had a food auction which was pretty intense! Depending on how much donated food they gathered in our neighborhood resulted in how much money was given! Well I just had a try to make a good one! So I made these......

They taste even better...I think! It's a copycat recipe for Cinnabon Cinnamon rolls! So I thought I'd share the recipe. But in return I ask that someone share a photo and recipe of their favorite food! I'm not limited to just desserts!

Dough: 2 Pkg active dry yeast, 1 cup warm water(105 - 115), 1 tsp sugar, 1 c. warm milk, 2/3 cup butter, 2 tsp salt, 2 eggs slightly beaten, 7 cups flour/till dough forms

Filling: 1 c melted butter(I just use half...seems like I always have too much butter left over),
1 3/4 c sugar( I do an even share of white and brown sugar), 3 tbl cinnamon, 1 1/2 c chopped walnuts optional

Creamy glaze: 2/3 cup melted butter, 4 cups powdered sugar, 2 tsp vanilla & lemon juice, 6 tbl hot water or more if needed

In a small bowl mix water, yeast and sugar set aside. In a lrg bowl mix, milk, 2/3 sugar, butter, salt and eggs. Stir well and add yeast. Add flour a little at a time until dough forms(Dough will be slightly sticky) Knead dough and place in a buttered bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk about 1 1/2 hrs. When done punch down and let rise another 15 minutes. Roll out dough on floured surface into a 15 x 20 rectangle.

For Filling:
Spread dough with melted butter. Mix together the 1 1/2 cups sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle generously over buttered dough. Roll up jelly style and pinch edges. Cut into 12 - 15 slices. Place slices close together and let rise for 45 minutes on baking pan. Preheat oven to 350 and bake 25 - 30 minutes until golden brown.

From Creamy Glaze:
In a medium bowl mix powdered sugar, butter and vanilla. Add hot water 1 tbl at a time until desired consistency, Pour over rolls!

MY VOTE MY FAMILY

Those of you who have a hard time sitting down at the computer without interruptions....due to ...oh...I don't know... children, husbands, dinner, work, on going activites and sleep will understand why I have just decide to post this now. I wrote it a few days ago saved it and now finally I've taken the time to post it! Hope you enjoy my first BLOG ever.....could be my last!

OK... so I swore I was not going to have my first blog be a political one but when it comes down to it it's inevitable! Without going into detail on every topic of debate I will only mention one and you will understand why this one concern involves every other issue you can think possible for debate....MY FAMILY! With voting just a few days away I did my research. I wasn't searching for a democratic or republican stance but rather values and morals that fit MY FAMILY! When I think of our economy, education, health care, jobs and energy sources I think of how these critical topics affect MY FAMILY and our future. I want my husband to be able to have a steady and reliable job, work hard(like all AMERICANS or whoever chooses to come to this country should) and reap the benefits by taking family vacations to new and exciting places. I want to not be limited to traveling within my own city because the gas prices are just a little to high. I want to be able to buy a gallon of milk and a carton of eggs and not have to make it last all month due to our ever changing economy! If by chance one of us were to get sick I want to be able to attend the doctor's office, receive the appropriate medication and not worry if our monthly paycheck will allow it! I want my daughter to have a great education, attend the college of her choice and not have her talents and interest be limited by finances. When the time comes I want my husband to be able to retire and receive a comfortable retirement from all his years of hard work. I want our country to a lead safe, healthy and eco friendly way.... I want to enjoy life...I want to enjoy MY FAMILY! My wants are simple, plain, down to earth and probably like most other families. I want freedom..freedom to decide what is best for MY FAMILY! I want a change.... a change that will attempt to move our country forward with innovative and prosperous ideas for the benefit of MY FAMILY! Change and progress for my country, my friends, MY FAMILY our future!
